阅读下列短文, 从每题所给的 A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
A
Sunlight means warm weather and spending time outdoors. But when the temperature rises quickly, it’s time for us to get out of the sun and cool down. It’s the same for cities.
Dubai
In Dubai, rows of high-tech pavilions (亭) in the shape of date palms, a kind of local trees, have been “planted” in parks, waterfronts, streets and other public places to keep its citizens cool when they have nowhere else to go in the summer heat. These pavilions are equipped with the air-conditioning cooling system through which citizens can enjoy the fine water spray (喷洒). In particular, the pavilions’ energy is from solar energy.
Doha
To reduce the temperature of the road surface, the engineers in Doha took a bold decision — to paint the road surface in blue color with the help of a heat reflective paint. The paint contains a cooling material that reflects 50 percent of UV (紫外线的) rays. The temperature of the road surface can be reduced by about 7℃ with the use of the paint. Besides this, the blue color of the road is expected to bring a cooling effect on the eyes.
Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is located in the desert where temperatures regularly rise to 49℃. To help beat the heat, some buildings here are turning to umbrellas for staying cool. The designers wrapped the buildings’ outer walls in a shell of umbrella-shaped elements. The facility moves, turns on or off with the path of the sun, minimizing the heat brought by the sun.
Kuwait City
The National Bank of Kuwait combines structural innovation to beat the local 45℃ summer heat. The idea of the shape of the building is from the mussel (蚌) which opens up to the north in the shape of a butterfly. The central and southern part together form the structural system of the tower, making the best use of upper floor space and protecting the building from direct sunlight.
