Step 1. Greetings and warming-up

Greet the students as usual.

Ask the Ss to talk about their hometown and their houses.

Qs: where are you from, a city or a small town?

   Can you describe the buildings in your hometown?

   What kind of buildings do you live in, a traditional house or an apartment?

Show students two pictures, a tall building and a traditional yard.
